Goozner Upped at TFT

Merrill Goozner has been named Senior Washington Correspondent for The Fiscal Times, replacing Ed Andrews who recently took a new position with The National Journal. Goozner will shift from his freelance relationship into a full-time position to report on a broad range of economic, budget and tax policy issues.

Before joining The Fiscal Times, Goozner spent 25 years as a foreign correspondent, economics writer and investigative business reporter for The Chicago Tribune and other publications.   His freelance writing in recent years has appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, Columbia Journalism Review, The Nation, The American Prospect and the Washington Monthly, among other publications.
