Fusion Poll: Obama Twice as Popular in Cuba as U.S.

And significantly more popular than the Castro brothers...

Maybe after he’s done with his White House gig, Barack Obama should run for President of Cuba?

A Univision Noticias/Fusion poll released on Wednesday found, among other things, that 80 percent of Cubans have a positive opinion of President Obama. That is a figure the Castro brothers could only dream of, as Raul and Fidel polled at 47% and 44% respectively.

Interestingly, the poll also found that 53% of Cubans believe that the US is a friend of Cuba, and 97% think that the normalization of relations between the two nations is a good for Cuba.

Below are some of the poll’s other key findings:
