According to Hadas Gold, Julia Ioffe, a former senior editor of The New Republic, will be joining The New York Times Magazine as a contributing writer. Ioffe, a Moscow-born journalist and expert on the Russian/Eurasian world, will cover foreign policy for the magazine’s new website.

Gold also reported two other moves, including Jaime Fuller to New York Magazine and Elizabeth Stoker Bruenig to The New Republic.

Fuller, who writes for The Washington Post‘s “The Fix,” will start writing for NY Mag‘s Daily Intelligencer blog next month — while Bruenig, who has written for The Atlantic, Daily Beast and In These Times in the past, will join TNR as a staff writer covering religion, economic and legal policy, and feminism.
