Former CNN cameraman Jerry Thompson has died.

Former CNN camerman Jerry Thompson passed away this weekend. Ines, his wife, says it was peaceful and that he was well taken care of. She hopes to have a memorial service next Saturday in Leesburg. She has not finalized plans with a church yet but would like to have a short service with a reception afterwards per Jerry’s request. If anyone is considering bringing a meal to the house she asks that she’d rather have people bring something to the reception.
