Former ABC News Chief to Host Morning Show
David Westin will host Bloomberg TV's Bloomberg .
David Westin, former ABC News president and Good Morning America-tamer, will host Bloomberg TV’s new morning show Bloomberg <GO>.
The “Exit Interview” author will co-host the show with Bloomberg anchor Stephanie Ruhle.
“The two vow they won’t focus overmuch on the usual business-news chit-chat, like whether the Dow Jones Industrial Average is going up or down or stock-picking,” writes Variety’s Brian Steinberg.
In an interview with Steinberg, Westin said that <GO>’s target audience isn’t solely interested in straight business news.
“They are busy people who want to get something they can use something they aren’t going to get somewhere else,” said Westin.
