20140424_175658Last night at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, FedScoop hosted its evening cocktail series for 200 leaders from the technology and government IT communities to celebrate the site’s Top 50 Women in Tech list, released earlier this month.

In addition to cocktails and conversation, guests previewed FedScoop’s first mini-documentary, “Tenacity. Women Redefining Leadership,” featuring interviews with Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.); Alec Ross, senior adviser on innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; and Maria Horton, founder and CEO of EmeSec, among others, on their experiences as and working with women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.

Notables in attendance included Teri Takai, Chief Information Officer at the Department of Defense and Joe Albaugh, Associate CIO and Chief Information Security Officer at the Department of Transportation.
