Election Hangovers Are The Worst
A reader writes in with a certain conspiracy theory:
Josh Spiegel, the “news” guy at the morning show at 98 Rock, called in sick with a cold today, Wednesday, Nov. 8–one of the busiest news days of the year.
Lopez, the station’s previous news anchor and commentator for 28 years, I don’t think ever called in sick with a cold the day after an election.
UPDATE: Now, now: Conspiracy theories aren’t always right. We learn that Spiegel was indeed sick, with a flu so fierce he literally couldn’t drive into work today.
