Dylan Byers will be leaving Politico to join CNNMoney and CNN Politics as a senior reporter covering media and politics.
In an email to CNN staff, executive editor of CNNMoney Lex Harris writes, “Dylan…distinguishes himself as a fearless reporter on all things media, willing to take on political figures and media organizations.” Byers, who, before Politico, covered media for our sister publication Adweek, will continue to work from Los Angeles. FishbowlNY reports Byers joins Sept. 14.
Byers joins 12 other Politico staffers who’ve jumped to CNN in the last year.
