Debbie Wasserman Schultz: ‘Would Rand Paul Let a Woman Die Because She’s Carrying a Baby?’
And the war of words continues...
In the latest of what Wolf Blitzer calls a “tough exchange” between Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), Schultz fired back at the GOP presidential candidate on Wolf’s show Tuesday afternoon.
Last Wednesday, Wolf read a statement from to Paul Schultz on the matter of abortion exceptions:
“Here’s an answer. I support letting women and their doctors make this decision without government getting involved. Period. End of story… And I’d appreciate it if you could respond without ‘shushing’ me.”
After listening to the statement, Paul giggled and alleged that it sounded as if she was “ok with killing a 7 pound baby.”
