Dan Keating Is Already Dreading The Queen's Visit

From the Post’s internal critique board:

I want to say pre-emptively that I already cringe at what I expect our coverage to be of the queen. I detest fawning over this utterly unimportant subject. I cannot imagine a brief in tomorrow’s paper that will be less meaningful than anything that the queen does or says. There are certain automatic spasms the media cannot resit, and one of them is paying attention to facade royalty. I’d rather read a reprint of a long speech by James Traficant.
