Conservative Media Wants Last Word on O'Donnell

> Update: “Minutes ago MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell said on Twitter: “Spoke to @ChairmanMSteele today. Will discuss on the show tonight.”

The Washington Examiner‘s Mark Hemingway went after MSNBC’s newest host Lawrence O’Donnell late last night after his program aired an interview with RNC Chairman Michael Steele. MSNBC invited Steele back on O’Donnell’s “The Last Word” program tonight for another round. But Steele turned down the offer. “He will not,” said RNC Spokesman Doug Heye.

In question is O’Donnell introduction of Steele from last night’s interview: “As the first congressional election during his party chairmanship approaches, Michael Steele is dancing as fast as he can trying to charm independent voters and Tea Partiers while never losing sight of his real master and paycheck provider, the Republican National Committee.”
