Compton Elected WHCA Prez

Election results out today from the White House Correspondents Association and ABC’s Ann Compton won by a landslide–perhaps not surprising given that she’s widely thought to be the nicest person ever to work in the West Wing press room. She took 94 out of the 139 ballots.

In the strange way that the WHCA elections work, Compton will serve as the organization’s president in 2007-2008 after being successfully elected to both the board and the presidency.
