The Washington Post’s In the Loop co-columnist, Colby Itkowitz, is leaving her current position to write for the Post’s Inspired Life blog.
“We are thrilled that Colby has agreed to be the lead writer and anchor for the Inspired Life Blog,” wrote the Post’s social issues editor Sydney Trent, local editor Mike Semel and deputy local editor Monica Norton.
In 2014, Itkowitz left Pennsylvania’s Morning Call, where she gained notoriety for her coverage of Arlen Specter’s Senate battle, to co-write In the Loop with Al Kamen.
