In case you’ve been inside for the past month, it’s pretty damn hot outside. And what better way to beat the heat than a pool party?
Clothing retailer South Moon Under couldn’t think of a better way and will host the first-annual “Summer Spin,” a private pool party celebrating Rock the Vote, next month.
The party run from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Aug. 3 at the Embassy Row Hotel. In addition to food and drink from Grey Goose, Honest Tea and Georgetown Cupcake, live DJs .rarKelly (we have no guess as to how to pronounce that) and Adam to the Max (cheesy, but a better name) will perform.
There will also be a photo booth and gift bags by South Moon Under. Guests are encouraged to wear swimwear, but in case you forget, there will be a “swimwear pop-up shop” from South Moon Under, according to a press release.
Rock the Vote, which is being celebrated at the party, is a 20-year-old nonpartisan organization that encourages young people to vote.
