CNN Debate is Highest-Rated 2016 Debate So Far

14.521 million tune in.

CNN’s GOP primary debate, conducted in partnership with Telemundo, drew a combined audience of 14.521 million viewers across the two networks, according to Nielsen Fast National data. Of that total, CNN averaged 13.256 million, while Telemundo averaged 1.265 million.

The networks reached 4.684 million viewers in the A25-44 demo, with 4.058 million on CNN and 626,000 on Telemundo.

This was the tenth debate this cycle for the GOP candidates and the first to be carried by a Spanish-language network.
