CNN Adds Former Obama Aide as Contributor
Dan Pfeiffer joins the network as a political contributor.
Dan Pfeiffer, a veteran aide of the Obama White House, has been hired by CNN to serve as a political contributor, announced the network’s president Jeff Zucker Monday morning.
Below is a portion of CNN’s press release that includes a brief summary of Pfeiffer’s background:
His first presidential campaign role came in a communications post for then-Vice President Al Gore‘s unsuccessful 2000 campaign. He then worked for the Democratic Governors Association and later Sens. Tim Johnson, Tom Daschle and then Evan Bayh‘s brief 2008 presidential campaign.
