Chris Jansing Offers First Report as NBC News Senior White House Correspondent
Chris Jansing filed her first report as NBC News Senior White House Correspondent on Monday’s “NBC Nightly News,” covering today’s White House Summit on Working Families.
Jansing’s first day coincided with Josh Earnest’s first as White House Press Secretary. During today’s White House Press Briefing, he welcomed Jansing, saying, “Congratulations on your first day, Chris…Nice to see you here.”
Jansing’s new position was announced in early May. She joins Political Director and Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd, White House Correspondent Kristen Welker, and National Correspondent Peter Alexander.
Her last day anchoring MSNBC’s “Jansing & Co.”
