Chris Hayes Commits Fashion Crime

TLC’s “What Not to Wear” may be seeking frumpy female journos, but perhaps they’d make an exception for The Nation’s D.C. Editor Chris Hayes. He’s not frumpy at all, but let’s just say color coordination is not a hobby. Hayes’s truly garish ensemble, as seen in his appearance last night on MSNBC’s “Countdown” with Keith Olbermann, involved a bright red and black striped tie set against a grape purple button-down shirt. Ouch, Hayes, please warn us next time, so we can at least wear sunglasses.
