CBS's 'Good Wife' Follows Moody Investigation

Definitely an example of Hollywood swimming in the DC fishbowl!

good-wife-twitter-gop-comparisonLast night’s episode of CBS’s “The Good Wife” began with a story straight out of one of Chris Moody’s investigative stories published in November. Definitely an example of Hollywood swimming in the DC fishbowl! In the show, Alicia Florrick’s (played by Julianna Margulies) fictional campaign used anonymous Twitter accounts to secretly share polling information with a PAC. That story line was based on Moody’s expose of Republicans doing just that during the 2014 Midterm Election. The “Good Wife” script was so close to reality that they even used West Wing character names as the Twitter handles (which the GOP did in real life!).
