CBS This Morning Was at the National Museum of African American History and Culture Today

The newest museum in the Smithsonian collection, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, is set to open on Sept. 24, but CBS This Morning shared a sneak peek with viewers this morning.

Broadcasting live from the museum, the morning included an interview with museum director Lonnie Bunch III, who also gave hosts Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell a tour of the museum the previous day, taking them past artifacts that included a cabin that once housed enslaved people, and a Cadillac that belonged to Chuck Berry.
