Carlile Leaves Roll Call for Greenwire

Amy Carlile, the features editor of Roll Call, will join Greenwire as deputy editor on Oct. 29. She’ll oversee our coverage of environment and energy stories elsewhere and lead a team doing original reporting. Amy is a 1997 Texas A&M grad and worked at daily newspapers in Bryan, Texas, and Olympia, Wash., before she joined Roll Call in 2002. Among Amy’s duties at Roll Cal: overseeing the paper’s most popular column, Heard on the Hill; assembling the daily features section; managing three full-time reporters; running the newspaper’s internship program; and planning and editing 10 special sections a year.
