C-SPAN Seeks a Producer With a Passion for Politics
C-SPAN was one of the first to use the call-in format, and now the network’s live morning show, the “Washington Journal,” is in search of a producer. Although the position is temporary, the responsibilities are still integral to the daily series.
You’ll need to know a thing or two about politics and be up on the news to hold this position, which requires booking elected officials, policymakers, and journalists. You’ll also need to come up with relevant discussion topics and brief the talent and control room staff on the daily agenda.
