Brian Kelly Named Editor of U.S. News

Mortimer Zuckerman, editor-in-chief of U.S.News & World Report, announced today the appointment of Brian Kelly as editor. Kelly, the magazine’s executive editor since 2003, will succeed Brian Duffy, who resigned last month to pursue writing projects.

“Brian Kelly is uniquely qualified to lead U.S. News in the competitive environment of this digital age,” said Mr. Zuckerman. “He knows the publication inside and out, having been a key member of its senior management since 2003.
