Washington Post Co. (WPO) on Friday announced the appointment of Katharine Weymouth as chief executive officer of its new unit, Washington Post Media, and publisher of the Washington Post newspaper. In the publisher title, Weymouth succeeds Boisfeuillet Jones, Jr., who will become the vice chairman of the company.
The company said that the new unit will include the newspaper and washingtonpost.com,
