Bloomberg’s Ed Chen = “96 Hours” And Counting

febpresser 009.jpg Bloomberg’s White House correspondent Ed Chen looked like he was enjoying himself at the FD & Quinn Gillespie & Associates soiree Tuesday night at Public Bar. The president of the White House Correspondents’ Association showed up at the very beginning of the party and stayed fairly late. He even put a smile on his face.

Asked if he’s looking forward to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner being over, he replied, “96 hours.”

Chen had just come from a very “thorough” walk through with security of the dinner space at the Washington Hilton. He said it lasted a good two and a half hours.

It’s not as if his life has been easy the past several weeks, with some people irate over the number of dinner tables they received and a potential lawsuit on his hands. Word has it, the suit was a publicity stunt.
