Betty White is Belle of the Ball at CBS Pre-Party
Golden Girl favorite Betty White, petite with a puff of blond-white hair, showed up to the CBS pre-party to the WHCA Dinner Saturday night in sparkly black top. She was immediately mobbed by partygoers, and ultimately ended up tucked into a corner, talking quietly with three people at a small round table.
White was as sweet as could be, politely answering journalists’ many questions. But she looked somewhat frightened by all the attention. “I’m scared to death,” she said, when asked how she was feeling about hosting SNL next weekend.
