New York Daily News’ Ben Smith (you know, the guy who’s story you couldn’t stop talking about yesterday), is joining the Politico.
“As for me, I’ve accepted a job at The Politico, a new Washington-based outfit launching later this month. There, I’ll be reporting and blogging on elements of the 2008 campaign for president. I’ll still be working from New York, and will also be blogging occasionally on New York politics over on Room Eight.”
