Bad News Babes Take on Congress for the Congressional Women's Softball Game
Can the women of Congress defend their title?
A tradition begun in 2009 will play out once more this evening, in a softball battle that pits a bipartisan cadre of congresswomen against a multi-platform group of female journalists from the D.C. press corps, known, for our purposes here, as the Bad News Babes.
Neither just a game or opportunity for bragging rights, it’s a fundraiser for the Young Survival Coalition, a breast cancer support and education organization aimed at young women diagnosed with breast cancer and breast cancer survivors.
