Awards Roundup
A couple of noteworthy awards floating about this morning. First, two Washington-area journalists are among the 12 honored with a Knight-Wallace fellowship at the University of Michigan.
The Washingtonian’s Drew Lindsay and the Sun’s Gail Gibson will each receive $55,000 to cover a year of study and seminars. Lindsay will be studying education and the “new” civil rights movement, and Gibson will be investigating the Supreme Court and free speech in wartime America.
Second, the National Association of Black Journalists presented
