Attorney General Eric Holder on James Foley: 'People will be held accountable'

Following President Barack Obama’s statement yesterday on the beheading of American journalist James Foley by ISIS, Attorney General Eric Holder announced an open criminal investigation into the murder at a speech given at the Department of Justice on Thursday.

“The Justice department is actively pursuing justice in this case,” said Holder. “We have an open criminal investigation. And those that would perpetrate such acts need to understand something. This Justice Department, this Department of Defense, this nation; we have long memories and our reach is very wide.
