Attn. Reporters: Loggins to Visit Capitol Hill
A heads up for scribes on Capitol Hill: Singer Kenny Loggins will appear at a Recording Academy musical briefing Wednesday, January 26 at 1 p.m. in Rayburn HOB 2322.
Loggins’s mission: The Grammy-award winner will welcome the 112th Congress and “speak about and demonstrate” the power of music. Lawmakers, their aides and industry advocates will supposedly learn about “music policy issues important to artists.”
The event is “GRAMMYs on the Hill” and is being organized by The Recording Academy.
