Area Patches Merge

Stop the presses! The Bethesda and Chevy Chase Patches are merging. A well-placed source tell us Laura Thornton, editor of Chevy Chase Patch for past two years, will be in charge of the combined site as well as Potomac Patch. Erin Donaghue, “who did an excellent job running Bethesda Patch since its inception in 2010,” is taking a reporting job in New York City. The combining of the sites is expected to take place today.
