Another Journo Heads To The Unemployment Line
The LA Daily News’ Lisa Friedman, who earned an honorable mention for the 2006 David Lynch Regional Reporting Award, was let go Friday by the paper in the latest round of layoffs. The MediaNews Group (Dean Singleton) Bureau in the National Press Building that had at one point swelled to 14 people is back down to its original size of eight.
