Another Journo Behaves Badly
WJLA-TV has fired Doug McKelway for allegedly behaving badly earlier this summer. Reasons for the firing included insubordination and a shouting match. No doubt newsrooms can be volatile and tense. McKelway’s firing comes in the same week that we learn that Fox News’s Brian Wilson left Fox News – officially he resigned but clearly the feeling was mutual and he was shown the door. He was known for temper issues.
