Not only did NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell get to ask the final question during President Obama‘s joint press conference with Cuban president Raúl Castro, she earned a glowing compliment from POTUS in the process.
Mitchell’s question, occurring during the first visit by an American president to the Communist country since 1928, was a two-parter on progress toward lifting the embargo and the role of human rights in that process, half directed toward Obama and half toward Castro.
