Amberg Leaving WaTimes

From an internal memo, obtained by FishbowlDC:

Dear Colleagues,

Dick Amberg will be leaving The Washington Times at the end of October after a decade of distinguished service, most recently as our General Manager and Associate Publisher. Dick has been an outstanding leader, colleague and friend to so many of us here and was instrumental in many of the exciting changes we have implemented over the last 18 months. I know you’ll join me in wishing him the very best in his new endeavors.

As part of our continuing effort to streamline the newspaper’s operations, I’ve asked Keith Cooperrider, Chief Financial Officer, to take over Dick’s responsibilities overseeing Facilities and Production.
