ABC's DC Bureau Says Goodbye to Charlie

We hear Charlie Gibson paid a visit to the Washington bureau of ABC News this week to say some goodbyes. It was announced earlier that December 18th would be the “World News” anchor’s last day in the chair. Diane Sawyer takes over in January.

White House correspondent Jake Tapper tweeted Friday:

@jaketapper: Charlie Gibson came by the DC bureau yesterday to say goodbye. HUGE outpouring, Man is beloved.
