ABC News Names Shushannah Walshe Deputy Political Director
ABC News has named Shushannah Walshe deputy political director according to an email announcement. Walshe most recently served as a political reporter for the network, which she joined in April 2011.
Her coverage includes the NJ Gov. Chris Christie’s Bridgegate scandal, the 2014 midterm elections and primary process, and the Boston Marathon bombing. Her reporting was recognized with two Emmy nominations for her coverage of the Sandy Hook School shooting.
Walshe will continue to cover the 2014 midterm races and the 2016 presidential race and is the co-author of Sarah From Alaska.
