A 'New Assignment' Means Resigned for AP Reporter

Jennifer Loven, the AP’s White House correspondent and an AP reporter for 18 years, is officially off the beat. She has resigned and is preparing to leave her job tomorrow.

Loven (as shown here to the right of the President) will soon set up shop at the Glover Park Group – the news was first reported by Politico‘s Mike Allen this morning.

Steve Komarow, AP’s Acting D.C. Bureau Chief, sent a first memo out to staff saying Loven “will be taking on a new assignment at her request.”
