10:15 Meeting - President Obama and VA Secretary Eric Shinseki
On this morning’s “LIVE with Michael and Kelly,” President Obama foreshadowed a 10:15 am meeting he has scheduled for today with Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki.
“I’ll have a serious conversation with him about whether he thinks he’s prepared and has the capacity to take on the job of fixing it, because I don’t want any veteran to not be getting the kind of services they deserve.”
Secretary Shinseki has been under pressure to resign after at least 40 veterans died awaiting health care in Phoenix.
