Zynga announces closure of Hidden Chronicles on Facebook

As part of Zynga’s shifting focus from Facebook to mobile development, the developer / publisher has announced the upcoming closure of another Facebook title, Hidden Chronicles. First launched in January 2012, Hidden Chronicles asks players to solve the mystery of their uncle’s disappearance by completing dozens of hidden object scenes and repairing the family mansion.

The news was announced to players via a rewards offer for loyal players. When attempting to access Hidden Chronicles, players are asked to enter their email address in order to receive a special prize package in one of Zynga’s other games: FarmVille 2, Puzzle Charms (formerly Fairytale Twist) or CastleVille Legends.

Players with premium currency are encouraged to spend it before the game’s closure, as no transfers or refunds are being offered.
