YouTube Launches Advertiser Playbook, Gives Away $50 Million In Free Advertising

YouTube is making a major push to attract advertisers to the site and, to that end, are launching some new initiatives designed to help businesses get into the world of advertising on YouTube.

YouTube is making a major push to attract advertisers to the site and, to that end, are launching some new initiatives designed to help businesses get into the world of advertising on YouTube.

YouTube group product manager, Baljeet Singh, explains on the YouTube blog, “With a global audience of 800 million monthly visitors to YouTube, every day you can feel like you’re advertising in the Super Bowl, and one video can launch a business.  To help even more businesses play big with video, today we’re introducing a number of new products, resources, and tools.”

For starters, Google AdWords for video is now available to everyone.
