Amazon has announced Dash buttons for 78 brands, including Red Bull, Energizer, Illy Coffee, L'Oréal Paris Revitalift, Slim Jim, Clorox and—safe-sex advocates will like this one—Trojan, the condom company. So now folks don't have to be embarrassed in line at the grocery store when buying rubbers.
And no, this is not an early April Fool's Day joke. In fact, the move comes just in time for National STD Awareness Month, which begins tomorrow.

By pressing the Wi-Fi-enabled buttons, Amazon Prime members can quickly order condoms and other household goods for home delivery. To use another brand example, daily Red Bull drinkers can fuel their habit with a simple poke from their index finger.
The buttons cost $4.99 and have been on sale for other marketers like Gatorade, Gerber, Tide, Huggies and Kraft since last summer. Amazon, a Seattle-based company, said Dash orders have increased 75 percent in the last three months.
Today's announcement comes exactly one year after Dash was revealed with 18 brand partners in tow.
Indeed, Amazon has a penchant for April Fool's Eve when it comes to its Dash buttons. Last year, many people first suspected that the buttons were an April Fool's Joke.
