A long time ago we saw Liz Diller give her typical fireside chat at Cooper Union, at the very end of which she showed a couple very preliminary images of the new Alice Tully Hall project, the centerconcept of which was lining the interior of the auditorium in veneer-covered resin, internally lit. The Times picked it up, while our frenemies at the Gutter are of course convinced it’s another Rem rip-off, but we’re still so star-struck from our relatively recent Renfro sighting that we can’t possibly believe they’d ever do something so dastardly.
