Yahoo May Crawl Back to the Table with Microsoft
We were afraid it was going to come to this. Silicon Alley Insider reports that now that the Justice Department may kill Yahoo’s Plan B Google deal, the venerable portal is looking for alternatives, such as, you know, restarting talks with those pesky Microsoft folks.
Some members of Yahoo’s board have already reached out to Redmond for exactly this reason, according to unnamed sources close to the negotiations. As SAI puts it, Microsoft has already tried—twice—to set up a deal with Yahoo.
