Yahoo Finance on March 21 will roll out Breakout, a new original Web series focused on global trading and markets.
According to Yahoo officials, Breakout—hosted by former CNBC staffers Jeff Macke and Matt Nesto—will feature interviews with top names from the world of Wall Street. The series will be shot at Yahoo Finance’s New York studio each Monday through Friday. The site will post new episodes several times each day.
Merrill Edge has signed on as the premiere sponsor of Breakout, which joins the long-running live series Tech Ticker on Yahoo Finance. That show, which is being renamed Daily Ticker, occasionally reaches cable TV-sized audiences—as many as two million unique users on peak days.
