Yahoo Buys Citizen Sports
Yahoo has acquired Citizen Sports, a company that builds sport-related applications for mobile devices like the iPhone and social networks like Facebook.
San Francisco-based Citizen Sports was co-founded by Jeff Ma, the infamous MIT student who successfully counted cards and won millions from Las Vegas casinos in the 1990s. Ma and his friends were the inspiration for the the book Bringing Down the House and the 2008 feature film 21.
The company builds and manages a slew of sports apps.
