XMG Studio releases Fashion Star Designer on iOS, Android

Fashion Star Designer allows players to work their way up the ranks as a fashion designer, meeting with clients and fulfilling their requests to earn in-game currency and praise. Fashion Star Designer gives players their own boutique and starting clientele and allows them to make a name for themselves by combining patterns, colors and other details to make the best skirts, tops and more for their customers. Clients are demanding and eccentric, and each have their list of favorite designs, patterns or basic clothing types. [contextly_sidebar id="83fd0caa21ef9e162729859520875828"]One customer, for instance, may ask for a tank top to wear to a party. Players design the tank by choosing from multiple base templates, and then choosing the pattern or fabric. The colors of these patterns or fabrics are highly customizable, so no two clothing pieces will ever have to look the same. In addition, players can pinch-to-zoom to change the scale of the pattern, or rotate and drag its orientation on the piece of clothing. Once the item is delivered to the client, there’s a chance players may also unlock a new wish list item for that customer. Designing that tank top with a geometric pattern, for instance, could be the difference between an ok rating and fashion superstardom. Many items in the store, from patterns to base templates, are only available with premium currency, but this is rewarded over time as players complete designs and level up. Aside from fulfilling client requests, players can sell their existing designs in their boutique. The longer a design remains on a mannequin, the more money is generated, but at a sacrifice of bonus experience points. “In comparison to a pure mobile game, Fashion Star Designer was created with fashion entertainment in mind,” says Ray Sharma, President and Founder of XMG, in a company statement. “It’s built with the latest version of XMG’s signature, endlessly customizable fashion design gameplay, and is better described as a platform for creative expression.
