Speaking of alcohol, an alcohol-related competition is coming to Facebook in the form of the World Series of Beer Pong VII.

Facebook commerce provider Milyoni and live-streaming outfit TV Free Media are teaming up to live stream the finals of the event, being held at the Flamingo Las Vegas, on the BPONG.com Facebook page Wednesday, Jan. 4

The World Series of Beer Pong VII will be streamed in HD, using Milyoni’s Social Live technology, which enables fans to watch, chat, comment, and share the event.

Access to the live stream costs 50 Facebook Credits, or $4.99, if ordered in advance, or 70 Facebook Credits ($6.99) once the first ping-pong ball is flung toward a cup.

The seventh edition of the tournament is expected to draw more than 500 teams from at least 48 states and more than 10 countries.

Milyoni Founder and Chief Executive Officer John Corpus said:

Beer Pong has a cult-like following, especially among the college crowd, making Facebook the ideal platform for fans who can’t make it to the festivities. Our goal is to bring a truly social experience to unique events like this, allowing fans to get in on the action, even if they are watching from miles away.
