Swati Pandey, who moved recently from Op/Ed to cover the music industry for the business section, says that when the ax fell, she felt like “I really didn’t have a chance.”
She tells FBLA:
“I am not sure how others found out, but I got the old-fashioned ‘come to my office’ email, only to be greeted by the boss and an unfamiliar HR guy and the usual shpiel. Standard practice I imagine! I had just moved up there, so yes, it was a sad day and a frustrating one.”
